Fawn, April 25 2010

As a project, I decided to follow Fawn for a while, to track any changes in her. She came to Julie a couple weeks ago, being rescued and found a new home at Edensgate, hopefully as a future lesson horse. She is a pretty foundation Morgan, has a sturdy body and no big health or behavioral problems, only a very low self esteem and strong herd boundedness.

Here are the first pictures of her.

Fawn is getting curious what I am doing there. Beautiful yellow dandelions are flowering in the foreground.

A close-up to her face. I retouched the background to remove some distracting objects.

Back to grazing. Notice her nicely curved neck, straight back and sturdy legs. At this time she is still not shed out completely, which sometimes is a sign of

Her amazing eye.

Fawn has a great thick mane and pretty ears.
